Wow celebrity endorsements, who saw this coming!?!? I did!. Celebs have always been a topic of discussion with anyone, be it a rocker or a actress, they are a topic of discussion. Some people out their obsess so much about celebs, they are willing to do anything they do. By having a celeb "shop" at their store or even walk around wearing or using their product, people automatically flock to that store and copy what they are using/doing, almost doubling sales, it's amazing what people will do to be like famous people. However their is a downside to that. There are people out their that do easily subcumb to thoose techniques. *cough cough me* These peope have a tool that works even better than celebs. Word of mouth. I these so called rebels, starting spreading negative commments about a store, i woulkdn't be surprised if sales drop.
Honestly though if stores are willing to let people shp at their stores for free, it might be worth it to become famous i mean i could use some free stuff!

Blog Number 4 (thats right nothing special this time)
Ahh slogans, natures catch phrases, a jingle and a little peice of this world that involves advertising. Whenever you watch t.v or read a magazine their is always some kind of advertisment or something that you will see that has a slogan. This week we did an activity on matching slogans with their product company. My group was successfull in matching them allthough for a bit of misunderstanding we had 4 people instead of two, but not like this really mattreed, it was just a assignment on seeing how we react to advertising.
Advertising useally involves some sort of trick to keep or catch your attention. I consinder myself to be one of the people who are able to push ads away and not really let them effect my life. i was easily able to recall which ad went with which product because of one simple thing. Memory. I have seen most of the ads before and was able to recall the info and match them up. It wasn't stuck in my head, or silently brainwashing me, it was just a good recall ability. I still consinder myself a very good person who is good at being immune to ads.
