Entry Numero Trez (lol i'm spanish hehe)

I am loyal to the Randy River brand. It is a sweater brand that i tend to wear. Normaly i don't really care about what i wear but i find that their sweaters provide the best comfort and style for which i am looking for. Another brand i am loyal to is Samsung phones, because they are almost indestructiable. My phone was in a snow bank for 2 months and it still works, now that is what i call durability. The last brand that i am loyal to is Coke a Cola, i have always enjoyed it's taste, it provides the quick rid of thrist that i need.

Three brand that i am not loyal to are yamaha drums. The durability of their drum heads is ridicuolisly over rated. They hardly last as long as you would want them to. Motorola phones are a brand that i can't use. The service is ridicuolies and the they break all the time. The last brand that i can't stand is ipod. The prices are ridicoulis and then afterward, you have to only use their products to put music it on it.

I am usually a self-pointed type of person, meaning i pick my values and my own views on things. I hardly ever let other people choose my mind. Although it is good to know more information about certain things, i usualy keep the same opinion.

How effective is advertising? #2

Over the past week, we have looked at multiple forms of advertising. A popular one seems to be product placement in movies. That one however seems to be mistaken. For me I hardly notice the products and am to focused on the movie. The advertising compaines put to much work in trying to get the product across that they seem to have forgotten that people are smarter than they look. I say that direct advertisng(posters) is a much better form. You actually focus on the ad and are able to comprehend what is going on in the ad. It works so that you are able to actually know the product and determine if you need it. As always the direct techniques work the best.

The Class That Is Media

Again i am in a class, revolving around the world that is media. I have been always interested in the world of media.I knew that media was, almost everything in the entertainment industry. From Ads to film and music. I want to learn how this course can help me with my Broadcast Journalism class in college next year. I want to learn the different form of media, even the subliminal kinds. The last thing i want to learn is how different people view different type of ads. I learned that im not typical when it comes to viewing ads.(being alone on one side) I also learn how the consumer world is taking over.
